Real Life Stories
Care Club Supervisor / Sales & Customer Service Executive
Chloe joined SCL in October 2017 as a Customer Service Executive. Her enthusiasm was immediately clear and her way of working was a great fit to our core values. Whilst working at SCL, Chloe was also working towards a Foundation Degree in Childcare and Education and, upon completion of this, she was approached about her interest in becoming an After School Care Club Supervisor. In May 2018, Chloe began her unique new dual role, and as of then has never looked back!
WHY IS CHLOE HOLDING A PAIR OF ROLLER SKATES?
Roller Skating is something that Chloe is really passionate about. Chloe has a unique way of approaching all that she does with an energy and enthusiasm that brings a smile to all and it is this mind-set that has led to her achievements at work. Chloe is an ambassador of SCL’s brand values, ensuring that she has a positive impact on the children in her care clubs and the parents she speaks to in her customer service role.
We asked Chloe:
What are you most proud of since working at SCL?
I am most proud of winning the Passionate Award in the first quarter of this year’s Excellence Awards. It was made even more special knowing that I was nominated by my colleagues and peers, especially as I haven’t been in the business very long.
What is your favourite food?
My Nan’s signature chocolate brownie. There is no written recipe and she managed to get it perfect every time from memory.
If you could take only two items with you to a deserted island, what would they be?
They would be a hammock so I could stay comfy and a good book.
What makes you mega happy?
My Great Grandad. He never fails to make me laugh.
If you could spend an evening with anyone, famous or not, who would it be? And where would you go?
I would have to say Audrey Hepburn, one of my idols. We would have to go to Angelina’s in Paris.
What is the best thing about working for SCL?
With my dual role, every day is a different challenge, I go in everyday with an open mind, and everyone is always willing to help.
